Standard Polycarbonate Solid Sheet

Polycarbonate sheet is weather resistant, rigid and transparent combined with having an extremely high impact strength with a wide temperature range. Some grades are UV resistant and it has very good fire resistance properties. Good thermal insulator, physical properties over a wide temperature range however, limited resistance to organic solvents and it will be attacked by alkalis. Easy to cut, machine and shape can be cold bent to a radius of 150 x thickness of the material without any ill effect.

Applications: all forms of glazing, bus shelters, sports halls, schools and other public areas subjected to vandalism, it can also be used for machine guards, telephone kiosks booths, street furniture and advertising poster covers together with architectural barrel vaulted roofing.

Polycarbonate Solid Sheet With Hard Surface Coating

Its main use is as a safety, security and vandal resistant glazing sheet. Its impact resistance combined with its hard surface coating makes it ideal for shop front windows, bank glazing, bus shelters and entrance hall glazing. For the first time, now a real solution to certain transportation glazing problems such as vandalism on urban buses and trains, Cutting out both accidental and deliberate breakage in construction machinery, standing up to automatic washers and even windscreen wipers, allowing significant fuel savings versus glass through weight reduction. As the general purpose polycarbonate it has excellent weathering properties, extremely high impact strength, with a wide temperature range together with increased resistance to graffiti attack.

Applications: all forms of glazing, bus shelters, sports halls, schools, urban buses and trains and other public areas subjected to vandalism, it can also be used for machine guards, telephone kiosks/booths, street furniture

Multi-wall Structured Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate sheet is a rigid transparent material that exhibits extremely high impact strength over a wide temperature range. Multi-wall is a very good thermal insulator and also possesses good fire properties. Although of itself not particularly resistant to UV attack , it is easy to extrude with a surface grade that will withstand weathering, without losing all the other benefits of the material. These sheets tend to come with a manufacturers 10 year ageing and impact resistance guarantee.

Structured sheet is produced with two, three or four parallel skins separated by vertical webs, this prevents circulation of the trapped air and substantially increases the thermal insulation properties. 16mm thick triple skinned material is a cost effective solution to most building projects. With a unique combination of impact strength, transparency, lightweight, excellent insulation and maintenance of physical properties over a large temperature range, it provides architects with an exciting design freedom.

Cast Sheet Clear Opals & Colours

Acrylic sheet has exceptionally high quality surfaces, which are flat due to the manufacturing process of casting between two glass plates. On transparent grades the light transmission is superior to glass. Good weathering and ageing properties, easy to cut, machine, heat bend and shape. It is easily bonded with solvent cements and can be polished back to mirror finishes. Resistant to alkalis, readily available in clear any many colours.

Cast Clear Acrylic block can be supplied up to 100mm thick prices on application.

Extruded Acrylic Clear Opals & Colours

Unlike the cast acrylic the extruded is produced by a continuous extrusion process and cut into varying sheet sizes, it also has a very good quality surface finish and light transmission better than glass. Again good weathering and ageing properties. With its slightly lower molecular weight it is easy to machine heat bend and fabricate, can also be vacuum formed, easily bonded with solvent cements does not polish like cast
